I just got a call from my camp director.

Turns out I won’t be going to camp this year. ):

I applied for either week 1 or 2, but they’re way over staffed this year.

I have a choice of either being an on-site for week 3 or camp leader week 4, but I can’t go week 4 because I’m leaving for Newfoundland during that week.

I’d love to go, but the main reason why I applied was so that I could work with the kids.

It’ll be the first year in 6 that I won’t be going to camp.

Now excuse me while I go cry on my basement’s couch in my pyjamas and be miserable.
